my mom and i finally decided to leave the free people section of lord and taylor one day and journey into the unknown...the intimidating free standing section of
bcbg. what we discovered was much more than just an amazing selection of high fashion, perfectly fitting leggings. we found sales! and i'm not talking like 10% off here and there. i snagged a pair of zip up the side leggings for 50% and and extra 30% off. (although my friends say they look like scuba pants, i beg to differ). i went to their free standing store again today and came across an amazing dress sale, and now i have to convince my mother to go back with me tonight. here's my favorite, front and back:

bcbg is a very smart company, i must admit. there's this one skirt that they make, in a variety of colors, textures, and patterns. i believe it's called the power skirt, how fitting (no pun intended). my mom and i are absolutely in love with this skirt, but it never ever seems to go on sale...smart move bcbg cus i'd snag one of those bad boys in a heartbeat with even the smallest discount. they run for about $138 for a
solid black and $178 for the ones with the jazzy accents (such as this
metallic brushed one).
